as a dual-licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer, Dr. katie has a keen understanding of the body. she has over 10 years of experience working with active individuals from the weekend warrior to d1 athlete.

she has always had a passion for women's health, but After having her son in 2023, she knew something was missing from perinatal healthcare and set out on a mission to support moms on a deeper level.

strength & dignity wellness was born out of a passion for serving central texas moms with high quality pelvic floor therapy.

outside of work, you'll find Dr. katie exploring local parks with her husband and two children, escaping to the beach as often as possible, or cheering on her favorite sports teams

Dr. Katie Castillo, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT, PCES

spending time with her husband and son. I am active in church and lead a small group with my husband for other young family’s in the area.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll often find me …

In my quiet time (virtually never) I also enjoy quilting and embroidery - which has currently turned into a collection of fabric and unfinished projects.

I preach nutrition to all my clients and my favorite easy crockpot meal is Shredded Chicken Taco Meat: Family favorite - including our 1 year old

I’m the type of physical therapist that gets it. Having been through this myself, I feel a certain level of grace and empathy to where I want to ensure all my patients are able to raise their babies as their best, strongest, and most confident selves.

Leah is a licensed occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and diagnoses. Her background has given her a deep understanding of how the body functions as an integrated whole and how healing requires both compassion and knowledge.

Before becoming an occupational therapist, Leah worked as a teacher—a foundation that now shines through in her love for educating and empowering her patients to understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.

Leah’s passion for pelvic health grew from her own personal experiences with endometriosis, infertility, and miscarriage. These challenges deepened her empathy and strengthened her calling to walk alongside women on their healing journeys with gentleness, faith, and encouragement.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Leah outdoors with her husband and 5-year-old son, taking beach trips whenever possible, or trying a new recipe at home.
