Instead, we use clinical reasoning to provide high quality, individualized client care. Our clinicians take the best of current research and combine it with clinical experience and reasoning to get the best results for each client. We pride ourselves in being able to spend quality time with each client and getting to know them as a human being, help them achieve their goals, and get back to living their best life.

At Strength & Dignity Wellness we believe that the health of the mother drives the health of the family. If mom is unable to show up for her family, everyone else in the family suffers as a result. As moms ourselves, we know that often, our own self care is the last thing we prioritize. We also know that it is impossible to pour into our families from an empty cup. Our mission is simple: to help you feel your best so that you can show up as your best for those who matter to you most.

At our clinic you will find pelvic floor therapists who look beyond the checkbox questions and standardized treatment at each appointment.

what to expect at your first appointment

During your first visit, we will start by going over a detailed medical and birth history (if applicable) and get a better understanding of your goals. We will then transition to an examination (including internal if desired) to get a better idea of your pelvic floor strength, endurance, coordination, and if you are holding tension anywhere. Following the internal assessment, we will examine your core & posture to get a better understanding of how your body is working together as a whole. We may also perform some manual therapy to give you some immediate relief depending on your symptoms. Before you leave, we will educate you on exactly what we found during the exam and what is causing your symptoms. You will leave with a few exercises to start practicing at home prior to your next appointment where we will dive deeper into your treatment.

Throughout your care, we will continue to regularly re-evaluate your symptoms and how your system is working together as a whole so we can continue to progress your treatment plan from the treatment table to activities of daily mom life and beyond.

The Strength & Dignity Wellnessness Approach:

Relief from your pain/leaking/heaviness
Through lifestyle modifications and manual therapy we will give you simple cues to improve your symptoms right now while we work on getting to the root cause of your symptoms and rebuilding your foundation
Reconnect with your breath, deep core, and pelvic floor
We start with a big fancy term called neuromuscular re-education. This basically means we are teaching your brain how to send signals to your muscles so they are able to turn on and off when we want them to
Retrain functional movement patterns
After we get your muscles firing the way we want them to on the table, we train you to move without compensations in your everyday life.
Rebuild strength/endurance
Finally, add load to these movements so you can build strength & endurance to perform the activities you want to in your daily life
Reclaim your life
From carrying babies, to chasing toddlers, to getting you back to the activities you love most. We partner with you and build you a plan to reclaim your life.

We empower moms to raise their children with strength and live with dignity for years to come

At Strength & Dignity Wellness, our goal is to help you feel your best so that you can have the confidence to show up as your best for those who matter to you most.

Meet the Team

I’m a doctor of physical therapy with a passion for serving women through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Following my own difficult postpartum recovery, I went into eldest daughter mode and devoted all my energy into learning how to fix the hole I saw in healthcare, and become the provider that I wished I’d had.

Call me biased, but I believe that pelvic floor therapy should be the standard of care for all moms - pregnant, postpartum, and beyond. Leaking, pain, and heaviness may be common throughout pregnancy and after birth, but they do not need to be accepted, and they can all be treated! This is my calling, and I will forever LOVE working with moms and teaching them how to move well and fix compensation patterns through corrective exercise so they can resolve their symptoms and show up as the strongest, healthiest version of themselves for their children.

spending time with her husband and son. I am active in church and lead a small group with my husband for other young family’s in the area.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll often find me …

In my quiet time (virtually never) I also enjoy quilting and embroidery - which has currently turned into a collection of fabric and unfinished projects.

I preach nutrition to all my clients and my favorite easy crockpot meal is Shredded Chicken Taco Meat: Family favorite - including our 1 year old

I’m the type of physical therapist that gets it. Having been through this myself, I feel a certain level of grace and empathy to where I want to ensure all my patients are able to raise their babies as their best, strongest, and most confident selves.

Hi! I’m Leah, an occupational therapist with 11 years of experience and a passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the transition into motherhood.

My passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. My own journey to motherhood included an endometriosis diagnosis, fertility treatments, miscarriage, and ultimately an IVF pregnancy with my son, and gave me a deep respect for all that women carry during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys.

Pregnancy & Postpartum affects our body, nervous system, emotions, identity, and daily life. My experiences as a pelvic floor therapy patient showed me how powerful it is to be heard, believed, and guided through the healing process. This has become the foundation of how I approach treatment, and my goal is to give every woman the kind of support I wish more women had access to My occupational therapy background gives me a unique whole-person perspective on perinatal wellness and pelvic floor rehabilitation. When you work with me, you can expect me to slow down, actually listen, and treat you like a whole person, not a checklist of symptoms, so you can get back to the things that matter most.
